The production

The production of HITOFURI® knives takes place in Yangjiang, China, a city with a rich tradition in the manufacture of high-quality knives. Here we combine traditional Japanese craftsmanship with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques:

  • Material selection: We use 73-layer steel for our blades, known for its robustness and durability, and walnut wood for the handles, which is both beautiful and ergonomic.
  • Forging process: Each blade is precisely forged, hardened (60-62 HRC), ground, and polished by experienced craftsmen to ensure optimal sharpness and durability.
  • Quality control: The strictest standards at every production step ensure the consistency and quality of our products.
  • Packaging and Presentation: Each knife is presented in an elegant ash wood box, which also includes a walnut wood sheath for safe storage.

This careful process ensures that each HITOFURI® knife is not just a tool, but a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.
